Labradorite is a stone with beautiful colors that protects and strengthens the aura. It helps to let go of old thought patterns and pushes away negative projections of others. It helps maintain a stable energy field, prevents energy leakage. People with high sensitivity benefit from the use of Labradorite when they have to be in a crowded environment. Labradorite also helps to be in touch with the mundane and spiritual dimensions. For shamans and other healers, it is a protective stone that helps them to 'travel' safely between different realms.
On the physical level, labradorite supports the organs connected to the solar plexus (bile, liver, spleen, pancreas, intestines and kidneys) and provides relief from sleeping problems, rheumatism and gout attacks.

Mala
This garland of beads which is a mala is primarily used to count the mantras during their recitation. It performs the same function as a rosary (Catholic object of worship). The beads are made of semi-precious stones, pearls, seeds of the bodhi tree (ficus religiosa) or wood and are suitable for different purposes: for counting mantras or other prayers, prostrations, twirling etc. The cord is the same in all types of malas and must be composed of 9 threads symbolizing Buddha Vajradhara and the 8 Bodhisattva. The large bead at the end of the mala symbolizes the wisdom that understands and realizes emptiness and the cylindrical bead above it symbolizes emptiness itself. The two beads together symbolize that all obstacles have been overcome.
The Mala with 108 beads is used while reciting or chanting mantras. 108 is the ideal number for every purpose. It is important that our thoughts are pure while reciting or chanting the mantra. Mantra is the practical use of secret forces that can help us progress. By mantra we mean a pre-established sequence of syllables. The effect is obtained by repeating the mantra over and over again; this becomes deeper as you continue reciting. Essential is the sound that is produced while performing. This sound creates a unique spiritual imprint on the person reciting. They say that a mantra is like a human being; there are several stages that must be crossed before reaching the final effect which is the "Purification of mental impressions". There are several mantras with intrinsic potential, which can only be transferred personally by the Master to the initiate. Some malas have two clips with images of Vajra and Bell to keep track of the recited mantra rosaries. In Buddhism, the symbolic meaning of these images is "method and wisdom, the masculine and feminine principle". The animal bone represents the transitory state of all beings.
